Talk with experts – lectures for the Biom’s flock: insects citizens
Jelena Bujan from the Ruđer Bošković Institute and Ana Ješovnik from the Institute for Environmental and Nature Protection will talk about ants, bees and hoverflies.
Which species of ants are our fellow citizens? How do urban bumblebees live? What do hoverflies think about city flowers?
We call you to join the lecture for members of Association Biom under the name “Insects citizens”, which will be held on Wednesday, 6.12.2023 starting at 6pm and you will get answers to these and many other questions tied to our fellow citizens.
Namely, in this lecture you will hear about research about ants and wild pollinators in Zagreb, about regular urban species and their interesting lives, about the roles insects have in cities and what we, human citizens, can do for them.
Jelena Bujan from the Ruđer Bošković Institute and Ana Ješovnik from the Institute for Environmental and Nature Protection will talk about ants, bees and hoverflies.
The lecture will be a hybrid – we will host a part of the crowd in our Biom office in Čazmanska 2, the other part of the crowd can join us online via Zoom.
