Elvira’s EVS visit to Poland

European Voluntary Service (EVS) enabled this year to our member Elvira Žižić-Gušo visit to Polish village Klimontów where polish Foundation CampoSfera is hosting her. She started her 6-month EVS visit in July this year.

Foundation CampoSfera, whose main goal is to initiate activities and projects that will connect education with sustainable development, ecology, and innovation, is carrying out project ”The Doors to Europe”. The project is hosting 5 volunteers from Spain, Germany, and Croatia and its aim is to promote tolerance and openness to diversity. Volunteers job is to participate in the educational programme for local inhabitants, design, and maintenance of the CampoSfera building and garden and to give support to the future Polish EVS volunteers. Elvira is spending her time designing and creating crafts, working and playing with local children and other volunteers and sightseeing Poland. For now, Elvira is very happy with her experience and is looking forward to the autumn and winter in the polish surrounding.
