Ivana Miloš is a graphic artist, illustrator, and writer living in Vienna. She held a scholarship at the National Parks of Austria last year and is one of the founders of the Austrian association Dunjiva Kollektiv, which focuses on connecting art and nature and works to build bridges between these spheres. For everal years, the artist has been creating her own graphic editions in the form of postcards and posters, and last year she started making her own calendars in small artistic editions. Ivana has been following the work of the association Biom for years and looks forward to the association’s initiatives. “I am so happy that you exist and deal with topics that lack attention and which are more than essential for everyone, whatever species we belong to, as well as for our common existence,” she told us.
All of Ivana Miloš’s works are inspired by nature and crafted using ecologically sustainable techniques. She uses a specific technique called risography, an eco-friendly printing method similar to screen printing, which utilizes plant-based colours and doesn’t produce waste or consume energy unnecessarily. With this technique, she designed her new calendar for the year 2024, dedicated to birds!
